Join WDAC for Save a Life Day on Thursday, September 24, 2026. What began as a two-county effort in West Virginia in 2020 has grown into a nationwide initiative, with approximately 133,000 doses of naloxone distributed in a single day in 2025.

This year, WDAC is bringing Save a Life Day to six locations throughout Washington County, from Avella to California. Stop by to receive free Narcan and other overdose response and support resources while supplies last.

Our goal is simple: get lifesaving Narcan into the hands of people throughout our community.
